BUT WHAT DO I WEAR?
Something comfortable! Always bring more tops/dresses/jackets as we can chat and see what suits you most, in an hour's shoot we may have time to try on 4 different tops or more.
I think it is always great to bring item's that show off your eye colour. Deep colours in Blue's, Red's, Green's along with your nude colours, ie, Blacks. Please bring clothes that represent you! Grab a case, fill it up and we can go through the options. Think of textures, shape, seasonal clothing, lets mix it up!
Remember we are getting in your face and shoulder's so if you think your dress/shirt/jumper has a great neck line that brings out the UK's best chiselled cheek bones then please bring it along!
BUT HOW DO I STYLE MY HAIR?
How do you style it most days? Your headshot's are their to show YOU and your personality.
Gals: I say come with your hair styled and down and then we can always tie up, pin back and re-shape as we go along. Occasionally there is a little wind, but nothing to worry about!
Guys: Style how you would for day to day, we can re-style, push back, comb over and tie up, to get the particular look you want. For facial hair, because I shoot outside it can be tricky - if you want photo's with and without please mention this in your enquiry.
BUT DO I WEAR MAKE-UP?
Guys: Face base clean and smooth - no red rashes, groomed eyebrows and juicy lips. I advise turning up with make-up ready to go.
Gals: If you want to then why not! A little mascara can bring out your eyes, a bit of powder can take the shine away. Personally, I would wear the make-up you would wear to an audition. A perfect the base - smooth and even skin tone, and bring translucent powder for shine. No dry lips - bring lip balm! Eyelashes curly and feathery and eyebrows groomed, not too much makeup on them, keep them more natural. And bring you're makeup with you in case we need it. The neater your make-up - the neater the shots. Come to the shoot wearing less to get those natural shots and we can always add more make-up on throughout to get you those commercial shots.
SOME TIPS
Please turn up with have an idea of what you want. You should come to the shoot with a positive attitude and ready to have fun, leave all your worries and negativity at the door out on the street. Think of it like turning up to a rehearsal. it makes a world of difference to our time in the shoot and the result we can get.
